Pharmacovigilance: a website to check if a drug poses risks in the event of symptoms of Covid-19

26.03.2020

The website is intended for the general public “and exclusively for people with symptoms of Covid-19” defined by Public Health France that the site recalls: fever, fatigue, headache, cough and sore throat, body aches and respiratory discomfort.

To find out if a drug could pose a potential risk of worsening these symptoms, simply enter the name of the treatment in the search bar and answer two questions: “Was this medication prescribed to you by a doctor?” “Do you take this medication daily or almost daily to treat a chronic illness?” The answer then appears under the search bar: in a red box if it can potentially worsen the symptoms and in green, if it is not dangerous.
