U-Scan – Withings

Withings Health Solutions (WHS) makes it easy for professionals to create connected health programs for chronic disease prevention, remote monitoring, clinical research and more. WHS provides seamless access to comprehensive data through a remote patient monitoring solution, as well as a range of devices: blood pressure monitors, connected scales, a sleep sensor, a connected temporal thermometer and hybrid connected watches. The solution we decided to evaluate is U-Scan.

U-Scan is the first connected, non-invasive home urine analysis laboratory. With a diameter of 90 mm, this health lab fits into any toilet bowl. It provides instant insight into body balance by monitoring and detecting a wide variety of biomarkers found in urine. A cartridge for healthcare professionals will soon be available, U-Scan “For Professionals”. This cartridge is modular in order to increase the possibilities of urine analysis.
